In June 2018, we were delighted that the RAF Cranwell Military Wives Choir joined us in our Summer Concert at St Denys' to sing on the title theme of 'Songs From Stage and Screen.' The audience and Sleaford Choral very much enjoyed their performance and hope that this is the first of many occasions where we can perform alongside each other.

The Cranwell MRC were formed in 2012 on the back of Gareth Malone's hit TV show, 'The Choir'.  They are now a 36-strong choir of military wives, mums and serving ladies of the Armed Forces, meeting every week to rehearse songs from a core repertoire across the MWC network.  Also under the musical direction of Rowland Lee, the choir has been phenomenally successful and has been involved in a number of exciting engagements since their formation, and have recently recorded a new album entitled 'Remember' to commemorate the RAF 100 centenary and the end of the First World War.

In December 2017, the children from the William Alvey KS2 Choir joined us and completely stole the show!  They made a wonderful sound and showed that Sleaford Choral has a wide breadth of talent to draw from in the coming years.

Most of our concerts are performed in the magnificent surroundings of St Denys' Church in Sleaford, under the guidance of our Musical Director Rowland Lee and accompanied by our talented organist, David Shepherd.

Listen to the choir singing "Sing Lullaby'.
